Cleon and Betsy Knapp recently sold their palatial 10807 Bellagio Road estate in the exclusive Holmby Hills area of Bel Air to famed international restaurateur, Nobu Matsuhisa for $16,500,000.

Cleon T. Knapp, former owner and publisher of Architectural Digest, built this mansion in 1998.  The couple used award-winning architect, Hugh Newell Jacobsen to design this three bedroom ten bath home (two additional bedrooms are in the staff wing).

Nobu recently ventured into the hotel business, opening Nobu Hotel in Las Vegas February of this year.  It is a boutique hotel located in Caesars Palace Hotel & Casino's Centurion Tower.  Naturally, it is attached to a Nobu restaurant http://www.noburestaurants.com/las-vegas-caesars-palace/experience/introduction/
